About the School
Olympia Waldorf School serves approximately 150 students in preschool through eighth grade. Our faculty is comprised of three early childhood teachers, eight grades teachers, and two specialty teachers. Specialty subjects currently include German, Games and Movement, Gardening, Woodworking, Handwork, Ensemble, and Strings. We have graduated thirteen classes from Grade 8. Campus and Community
Olympia Waldorf School is situated on four acres in semi-rural East Olympia. Our campus includes Prairie Hall, a historic school building built in 1916, a modern Middle School building, and a charming Kinderhaus. We are minutes from downtown Olympia, capitol of Washington, midway between Portland, OR and Seattle, WA, and close to mountains, Sound, and ocean. Olympia offers a diverse community and workforce and ample recreational opportunities.

Specialty Teacher Opening
Olympia Waldorf School is seeking a well-rounded teacher who is joyful and warm, with strong interpersonal, communication skills, effective classroom management, and enthusiasm for teaching and learning. It is our desire to hire a qualified individual to teach a specialty they are enthusiastic about. Possible specialties include, but are not limited to movement, foreign language, handwork, or middle school skill (ie. language arts or math).
