Annual Fund
What Is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund is money given to the school that is spent within the same fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). Annual giving bridges the gap between tuition revenue and actual operating costs — without it, tuition would need to increase by 18%.
Every family's contribution, regardless of size, demonstrates confidence in Olympia Waldorf School and helps maintain the economic diversity that strengthens our community.
Where Your Gift Goes
Programming & curriculum — arts supplies, musical instruments, handwork materials, and field trip experiences.
Faculty support — professional development, Waldorf teacher training, and competitive compensation.
Tuition aid — ensuring Waldorf education is accessible to families across the economic spectrum.
Campus & maintenance — caring for our historic Prairie Hall, Kinderhaus, middle school building, and woodland grounds.
Why It Matters
Like most independent schools, tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Waldorf education. The Annual Fund fills this essential gap. Olympia Waldorf School is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
