There's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes.

At the Olympia Waldorf School, we embrace the outdoors. To keep that experience enjoyable, it is important to dress children in clothing that will keep them dry and comfortable no matter the season.

First Day Checklist — Early Childhood

Base layers, non-slip slippers, change of socks (wool best), change of underwear, change of pants, long-sleeved shirt, short-sleeved shirt, sunhat, rain coat, rain pants (bib overalls best), insulated rain boots, warm hat & gloves, warm sweater, rain mittens (multiple pairs).

Reminders

Regularly check your child's cubby for a full set of clean, dry clothes.

Write your child's name on every item.

All clothing should be free from media or distracting images.

Shoes must be sturdy, closed-toed, easy to put on, and without lights.

Please leave toys and special jewelry at home.
