Drop off/Pick up Details
Parking can get tight during drop-off and pick-up, so please drive slowly and stay considerate—it helps keep everyone safe, especially for our students.
What time does school start?
Grades: 8:10 AM
Early Childhood: 8:30 AM
Which door should I use to enter Prairie Hall?
Please use the “bell” playground door. To access it, walk to the middle gravel parking lot, go through the gate near the bulletin board, and enter the campus. The “bell” door is to the right up the steps.
For visitors or families arriving late or picking up early, use the office door on the south side of Prairie Hall.
Drop-Off Procedures for Grades:
Drop-Off: Begins at 8:00 AM. Please drop off grades 3-5 students in front of Prairie Hall, where a staff member will be outside to wave hello and direct them to the gate entrance.
Grades 1-2: Park and walk your children to their teacher’s designated meeting spot (e.g., hallway cubbies, outside, apple garden).
Tardiness: Classes start promptly at 8:10 AM. After 8:11 AM, please park and walk your student into the office on the south side of Prairie Hall to sign them in. We will provide a colorful tardy slip.
Late arrival middle school students may stop by the office on the south side of Prairie Hall before heading to class.
Pick-Up Procedures:
Grades: Please park and pick up your student at their classroom, unless the teacher has indicated a different location.
Middle School Families: Please use the “red shed” parking lot to the left of the middle school building for pick-up.

School begins at 8:30 AM. For arrivals after 8:40 AM, please check in at the office on the south side of Prairie Hall to receive a colorful tardy slip for your student to hand to their teacher. This helps with attendance tracking and ensures the safety of all children on campus.
For Little Violet, Sunflower and Thimbleberry families: Please park in the assigned family parking areas near Prairie Hall, use the potty and head towards your classroom.
For Snapdragon and Dandelion families: Please park in the lot near the "red shed," walk through the Kinderwoods, use the potty and head towards your classroom.
Please note: if you plan to stay and play after school, please park a bit further out so those doing a quick pick up can get in and/out easily.

- In the paved parking lot off of 82nd Street (side of Prairie Hall) and along 82nd Street, avoiding areas close to the stop sign or private driveways
- In the gravel parking lot between Prairie Hall and the middle school
