9/9 - 2pm-9pm Sweetlee's Ice Cream Fundraiser

Open to everyone! Mention Olympia Waldorf School and we'll get 25% donated back to our school.

Open to the public. Held in the middle school foyer.

Open to OWS parents. Held in the community room in Prairie Hall. No experience necessary! RSVP to development[@]olympiawaldorf.org

10/1-10/31 Arts Walk (with main events happening 10/7 and 10/8)
Open to everyone! We'll be partnering with the Olympia Bed Store and featuring "Mariposas Voladoras" (i.e "Soaring Butterflies") made by our students. Calendars featuring the student art will be available for purchase.

10/29 @ 6:30pm All School Meeting
Open to OWS parents. Board update for the first half hour then "Sip & Paint" Waldorf style hosted by our talented Middle School teachers. Childcare, food and refreshments will be provided.

11/5 Begin "The Courage of the Salmon" Vacant Storefront Installation
Help install our "Under the Salish Sea" themed art in a vacant storefront downtown. Open to OWS parents, unfortunately kids are not permitted in the building.

11/16 5:30pm Lantern Walk
We will walk from Western Washington Inlet to Heritage Park Spiral (~0.6 miles), singing songs (I Go With my Little Lantern, Glimmer, lantern, Glimmer, Round and Round (for spiral walk) and Rise Up O Flame) while carrying lanterns. Cider and popcorn to follow. Learn a little more about the Lantern Walk here.

Open to everyone! Silent Auction, crafts, a Snow Queen, Pocket Person, gingerbread, Cookie Kingdom, Fairy Shoppe and more! This is a big event our school puts on and it takes everyone at our school to pull it together.

As a community, we want to see the promotion of a healthy and safe environment through a fundraiser that is student led. Our grades and middle school students get pledges and run or walk the Fun Run. 100% of the profits donated through the Fun Run will go back to our students. Contributions from classes 1-6 will go directly to OWS Annual Fund, while funds from 7th and 8th grades will go towards their 8th-grade trip.

Grandparents and special friends of current students are welcome to attend a day that showcases some of what we love about OWS. Music, performances, tours of the classes and tea! More information to be announced.

5/6 - May Faire
In many countries this day is celebrated as a traditional springtime festival. At the Olympia Waldorf School, we celebrate this day with a community gathering with flower crown making, spring crafts, May Pole dancing, food and our new tradition: our OWS Procession of the Species parade!

6/2 - Fly Away Ceremony
A treasured event celebrating our rising Kindergarteners as they "fly away" to the grade school and 1st grade. A sweet event for all early childhood families to witness.
6/3 - June Jubilee Fundraiser!
An end of year adult social gathering with class projects for auction, beverages and more.
6/8 - Move Up Day
The day when all grades classes move their desks and things to their classroom for the 2023-2024 school year. On this day students are then officially one grade older!
