Extended Care

The Extended Care program at OWS seeks to support families in our school by creating a nurturing space for our children after and before normal school hours. It is our vision that the physical and emotional space will support the whole community — children, their families, and their teachers. In this way, the Extended Care program hopes to serve as a “community care” program.

The Extended Care program is available during the following times:

• Morning Care: 7:30 am - start of school daily.
• After School Care Grades: 3 pm - 5:30 pm   
• After School Care Early Childhood: 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm   
• After School Early Release (Wednesdays): 1-5:30pm

 Reservations must be made in the office 24 hours in advance. Drop-ins are allowed, however they are based on availability and therefore we ask for 48 hours advanced notice when possible.

FAQ:

• Do you offer drop-in care before and after school?
  • Yes, care is available on a drop-in basis as long as there is staff coverage. 48 hours notice is ideal, but not required. Reach out via email to extendedcare@olympiawaldorf.org for last minute care needs. 
• Will after school clubs be offered this school year?
  • Yes! Stay tuned for announcements as programming is finalized.
• Who do I contact if I have a billing question?
  • Reach out directly to the Extended Care Coordinator (extendedcare@olympiawaldorf.org ) and Business Manager ([email protected]) and they will be able to offer assistance.
