Job Opening: Daytime Custodian
OWS Daytime Custodian should be energetic, reliable, and competent in performing janitorial cleaning on the OWS school campus. Duties include: cleaning debris and restrooms; maintaining (vacuuming/sweeping/mopping) common areas and hallways; restocking/reordering cleaning supplies; and responding to cleaning emergencies. This year-round position involves deep cleaning during the summer months.

Job Openings: Extended Care Assistants
The Olympia Waldorf School (OWS) is seeking experienced care professionals for our Extended Care program, which includes all childcare provided by OWS outside our regular school hours. Service times may include before and after school, during scheduled meetings, during scheduled annual breaks, and at summer camp. With the range of days and times that Extended Care is offered, we also have a range of days and times for which we are hiring; specific details on scheduling are shared during the interview process. Extended Care employees are typically hired part-time with 5 to 15 hours scheduled per week; more hours may be available for qualified candidates desiring more full-time employment.

Olympia Waldorf School is a Preschool through 8th Grade fully accredited Waldorf school serving students from throughout the South Sound. Our faculty is comprised of three early childhood teachers, eight grades teachers, and two specialty teachers. Specialty subjects currently include Spanish, Games and Movement, Gardening, Woodworking, Handwork, Ensemble, and Strings. We have graduated fifteen classes from Grade 8.
